Public Data Briefing: 2026 Proposed Amendment Relating to Sentencing Options

(February 13, 2026)  The Commission is seeking public comment on proposed amendments to the federal sentencing guidelines. Commission staff prepared a data presentation to inform public comment on a proposed amendment that would expand available sentencing options for certain defendants.
