Introduction
(October 15, 2026) The Commission has expanded its data collection, analysis, and reporting of cases in which a federal probation officer submitted a petition to revoke supervised release and where the federal court ordered the term of supervised release to be revoked.
The preliminary cumulative data in this report represents information concerning petitions for revocation of supervised release decided through March 31, 2026, and for which court documentation was received, coded, and edited at the Commission by July 9, 2026. This data report will be updated periodically as new information is prepared for public release.
