NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE UNITED STATES SENTENCING COMMISSION

February 3, 2009

Pursuant to Rule 3.2 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the United States Sentencing Commission, a public hearing is scheduled for February 10-11, 2009, in Atlanta, Georgia.  On February 10, the public hearing will commence at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 4:45 p.m,  The public hearing will reconvene on February 11 at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The public hearing will be held in the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, 265 Peachtree Street, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia.

The purpose of the February 10-11, 2009, public hearing is for the Commission to gather testimony from invited witnesses regarding federal sentencing policy.
