Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to the Federal Sentencing Guidelines

Notice

Pursuant to Rule 3.2 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the United States Sentencing Commission, a public hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13, 2025 beginning at 9:30 a.m. (EDT) on both days.

The public hearing was held in the Commissioners Conference Room in Suite 2-500 of the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building, One Columbus Circle, NE, Washington, DC. The hearing was streamed live. A transcript will soon be available. 

The purpose of the public hearing was for the Commission to receive testimony from invited expert witnesses on proposed amendments to the federal sentencing guidelines relating to supervised release and drug offenses.
