AMENDMENT 306

Amendment: Chapter One, Part B, is amended by inserting an additional policy statement with accompanying commentary as §1B1.10 (Retroactivity of Amended Guideline Range (Policy Statement)).

Reason for Amendment: The purpose of this amendment is to implement the directive in 28 U.S.C. § 994(u).

Effective Date: The effective date of this amendment is November 1, 1989.
