Violent Crimes, Firearms, and Gangs Working Group Report (October 1992) This working group was asked to focus on the topics of violent crimes, firearms, and gangs. The examination of violent crimes and firearms focused on 1) whether or not the present guideline penalties for these offense types are adequate; and 2) whether or not there are specific application problems associated with these guidelines.
