Summary
This compilation is a "reader-friendly" version of the emergency, temporary amendment promulgated by the Commission on October 15, 2010, in response to the Fair Sentencing Act of 2010. Official text of the amendment is posted on the Commission's website and can be found in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register. The official text of the amendment also will be incorporated into a forthcoming supplement to the Guidelines Manual.
