Summary

The first document is a compilation containing unofficial text of amendments to the sentencing guidelines, policy statements, and commentary submitted to Congress, and is provided only for the convenience of the user. The second document contains the official text of the amendments, which were submitted to Congress on April 27, 2023 (effective November 1, 2023). Official text of the amendments will also appear in the May 3, 2023 edition of the Federal Register.
