AMENDMENT 260

Amendment: The Commentary to §4A1.1 captioned "Application Notes" is amended in Note 4 by inserting the following additional sentence at the end: "For the purposes of this item, a ‘criminal justice sentence’ means a sentence countable under §4A1.2 (Definitions and Instructions for Computing Criminal History).".

Reason for Amendment: The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the application of the guideline.

Effective Date: The effective date of this amendment is November 1, 1989.
