(July 2015) This document contains annotations to certain D.C. Circuit judicial opinions that involve issues related to the federal sentencing guidelines. The document was developed to help judges, lawyers and probation officers locate some relevant authorities involving the federal sentencing guidelines. The document is not comprehensive and does not include all authorities needed to apply the guidelines correctly. Instead, it presents authorities that represent D.C. Circuit jurisprudence on selected guidelines and guideline issues. The document is not a substitute for reading and interpreting the actual Guidelines Manual or researching specific sentencing issues; rather the document serves as a supplement to reading and interpreting the Guidelines Manual and researching specific sentencing issues.
