NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS
OF THE UNITED STATES SENTENCING COMMISSION
Pursuant to Rule 3.2 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the United States Sentencing Commission, notice of two public meetings scheduled for November is provided. The first will be held on November 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building, One Columbus Circle, N.E., in Suite 2-500 (South Lobby). It is expected that the meeting will conclude by 3:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear from the Commission’s two standing advisory groups (The Probation Officers Advisory Group and the Practitioners Advisory Group) regarding draft amendments and issues for comment for potential publication in the current amendment cycle.
The second public meeting will be held on November 20 at 10:15 a.m. at the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building, One Columbus Circle, N.E., in Suite 2-500 (South Lobby). It is expected that the meeting will conclude by 12:00 noon. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the business detailed in the following agenda:
